Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór

Anyone that attempts to play music realizes how vast and rich this artform is. I knew this tune but was unaware of the guitar tuning DADGAD (Dad Gad). It has such a great sound. Since I have an extra guitar I need to give the tuning a try, at least as a stretch goal.

Sí Bheag, Sí Mhór (meaning “Small fairy, big fairy” in Irish Gaelic) is an Irish tune, attributed to blind harpist and singer Turlough Carolan (1670-1738).

It is a delight to watch this YouTube video, Tony makes it look so effortless.
