It’s the year of the monkey which seems especially appropriate with only one day till our Presidential Primary. I missed the opportunity to see Ted Cruz yesterday in Peterborough, NH. There were no more tickets available. I am not a fan of the guy. Apparently nobody else likes him very much. Sad isn’t it?
The phone rings non-stop from pollsters, the mailbox is full of slick colorful ads from super pacs and one cannot go to a diner without running into a candidate. It’s Presidential Primary season in New Hampshire and it is great fun. I for one will go through withdrawal on February 10th.
I’ve seen a number of candidates so far, but Nomorobo has blocked the pollsters. I suspect with the number of folks who have given up land lines that the polls may prove to be wildly inaccurate. Supposedly the two winners will be Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. We shall see.
Jeb Bush held a town hall meeting in Peterborough, NH on January 7th, 2016. Even as an unabashed liberal I’ll admit to being impressed with his intelligence and understanding of the issues. Thankfully the issue of Trump did not come up, something that seems to be more important to the media than the actual voters in my state.
Governor Bush mention the loss of community spirit in America, specifically mentioning the book that I’ve included as a link in this post.My overall impression is that the guy should be taken seriously. I realize he is down in the polls but here is an interesting fact. I probably have a 100% voting record, I’m the guy they want. However I lie on polls and now don’t even do that because my junk call app blocks them. We’ll see the real POLL RESULTS on February 9, 2016.
